Ferese derives the text and icon color for filled accent controls from the
configured theme. It keeps the configured text color when it reaches a 4.5:1
contrast ratio; otherwise it chooses black or white. The same rule is shared by
native dialogs, settings selections, and notification badges. Hover, pressed,
and disabled accent-button states use the same policy. Small filled controls
resolve accent transparency against their theme surface so wallpaper cannot
make their labels unreadable. No separate per-application color setting is needed.
The target follows [normal-text contrast guidance](https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Understanding/contrast-minimum.html).
